I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Jamestown, focusing on teaching IT-related courses. I completed my master’s degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Databases and Business Intelligence from Boston University, and am currently engaged in an Information Technology doctoral program with a specialization in Information Security (Cyber Security) at the University of the Cumberlands. This particular site started after being annoyed that I kept leaving my dissertation journal notebook somewhere. (Either in my office or at home.) The “theme” and name, well that resulted from a couple of zoom calls where it was pointed out it is now noticeable. Dissertation (or thesis) beards are apparently nothing new and a long-standing academic tradition and source of humor. (Harvard Crimson, 1998)
Dissertation Topic:
A qualitative research project to examine how Cybersecurity is integrated into Liberal Arts technology programs was proposed. This study should allow Liberal Arts programs to utilize the proposed research to make evidence-based decisions about program revisions and development.
